This listing is for a balanced NOS 5963 / 12AU7 tube made by GE. Tubes test NEW 100% and passes life test. The 12AU7 is a medium mu multi-purpose double triode in a 9 pin miniature package. The 12AU7 can only be used in parallel filament circuits. Like the 12AX7, this is not a hassle since virtually all hi-fi tube amps are of the parallel filament design.
