NICE Amperex JAN 7308 6DJ8 E188CC. Made in USA, Amperex Electronic Corp., New York.GOLD PINS, orange ink, grey plate, large halo getter, top seams.Premium 6DJ8 VR is the European code for E188CC (see photos) MATCHED SECTIONS Emission GM Date Code Tube 1, Section 1: 70% 91% *7I (September 1967) Tube 1, Section 2: 70% 91% All tubes are tested on an Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester (Fixed Bias Mode). Tested for emission, GM, gas, shorts, and H-K leakage. The first number listed is the Emission test result (percentage of Class A data sheet specification). The second number is the Transconductance (GM) test result (percentage of Class A data sheet specification). The AT1000 uses specification voltages and currents when performing the various tests. The Amplitrex AT1000 is one of a select few tube testers, new or vintage, to do this. Most vintage tube testers use lower than specification voltages and currents, so what you are getting proportional test results. Don’t settle for “tested great on my antique XYZ tester”. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING! Know how your tubes will perform under actual operating conditions.Tubes that test at or above 80% can be considered an As-New tube. Tubes that test 50% - 79% can be considered a Good tube. Tubes that test at 49% or below may still work perfectly fine in your equipment. These test ranges are used by several online tube vendors. Tubes (or tube sections) with GM readings within 10% of each other may be considered “matched”.Due to the nature of vintage electronics, vacuum tubes and the devices that use them, I do not offer a return option. You can be assured the vacuum tubes you purchase from me test as stated. To insure the test results are as stated, all vacuum tubes are retested prior to packaging and shipment. Comparing test results between different brands and models of vacuum tube testers is not possible. There is great variation in test circuit design, and what test parameters are used. This is especially true for vintage testers where proper setup and calibration cannot be assured. The Amplitrex AT-1000 is a state-of-the-art vacuum tube tester and one of a handful of new or vintage testers that test a vacuum tube at actual operating voltages and currents. Test results are from an Amplitrex AT-1000 only. Also please note above the test result ranges for the vacuum tubes I sell. *** Please ask your questions before you bid. Item sold as-is.
